| Notes: | THE LANDING was made for QAFCO’s (Qatar Fertiliser Company) 50th joint-venture anniversary with Norwegian counterparts, Yara International. QAFCO is the oldest Qatari company and joint venture in existence, and this fictional, symbolic narrative celebrated the historic relationship between Norway and Qatar in the most dramatic and iconic way possible. The film was made for a seated audience of 500+ high-level attendees at a November 2019 event, and was aimed, in particular, at the Crown Prince of Norway, Prince Haakon Magnus, and the Prime Minister of Qatar, H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. Following the film’s playout, three Vikings, three Qatari warriors and the young boy that featured in the film - in full costume - would bring out the treasure chest and from within it, present the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister with a golden 50th Anniversary trophy. When you think we made a Viking epic for a fertilizer company, I can't give enough credit to the client. |
