Notes: Stock footage has long suffered from its perception as a last-ditch tool to bring creative ideas to life. We challenged that by showing the creative power of Adobe Stock with a first-for-the-category brand experience: the Adobe Stock Film Festival, an entire festival experience created from nothing but Adobe Stock footage.

The Adobe Stock Film Festival elevated stock by bringing together global filmmakers to create and share stories in one inspiring moment. From the live festival premiere through behind-the-scenes content that deepened the storytelling, the Adobe Stock Film Festival re-cast stock footage as a powerful tool to bring stories to life. This project began in March, as the Covid-19 pandemic escalated and much of the world sheltered at home. Many creators were challenged with how to support their imagination in these restrictive circumstances with fewer avenues to capture content of their own. Stock footage offered another route to bring ideas to life, making it more important than ever to put on the radar of creatives.

Impressions:
The Adobe Stock Film Festival had over 1.5 million viewers, 80k of those in the first 5 minutes (which is 2x higher than the benchmark).

Consumer Awareness:
Adobe’s brand awareness jumped to 50% with gains in every market.

Business Impact:
Most importantly, 3,000 new creatives were inspired to purchase and subscribe to Creative Cloud and the experience influenced 1,062 Adobe Stock subscriptions.

The Adobe Stock Film Festival created an integrated brand experience that was fresh for the category and cast stock footage in a new light for creatives. It's exactly times like these that we need creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness more than ever and this was a moment to empower creators to continue bring their stories to life with stock footage, proving that, no matter the limitations, with Adobe Stock creativity always finds a way to flourish.
