Notes: For over 160 years, Macy’s has been an advocate for the power of belief. So, when a little girl with a big dream of becoming Santa Claus is met with doubt and ridicule from her male classmates just because she’s a girl – she’ll stop at nothing to prove them wrong and demonstrate the magic of the season isn’t limited to a single gender.

“Santa Girl” is a heartwarming, empowering holiday story about the magic of the season, the importance of supporting a child’s dreams, and remembering that anything can happen when we believe. Inspired by the iconic Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a young girl, Virginia, decides that she wants to spread joy and cheer throughout her town just like jolly, old St. Nick. Thanks to her own grit and determination and a little help from her parents and Macy’s, Virginia’s holiday wish comes true.
