Notes: | We were tackling a cultural landscape where older women are too often misrepresented – they either become invisible, or fall into sexist and ageist brackets of spinster, cougar, grandma. Our research showed that nearly half of young women believed incontinence meant the loss of sexual desire after 50 – even though we found that actually this was far from the truth (only 10% lost sexual desire). |
