Notes: Clas Ohlson want to change the way they are perceived. They want to lead their market by building emotional connections to their customers instead of boosting a price war against their competitors. This campaign was a part of that strategy. To stand out during Christmas we decided to take on a not so holly jolly, but highly relatable theme, the Christmas stress. To balance out the negativity of the theme we needed to add humor and warmth. We took the well-known Christmas classic “Have yourself a merry little Christmas” and rewrote it to “Have yourself a merry stress free Christmas”. The song was performed by different Christmas decorations who came alive acting as a voice of reason. Begin us humans to stress less.
