Armed with a degree in design, Sheetal started her career in copywriting – go figure – about 10 years ago at JWT Delhi. Since then, she’s worked on notable campaigns, including with GSK, Nestlé, and Tinder. In 2020, her campaign tag for Budweiser India – ‘Kings are made over nights' – was so well-received that it was adapted for Bud’s US campaign and versions of the line have been used for many Bud campaigns across the globe, including campaigns with Halsey and Messi. In 2021, her ad campaign for Bhima Jewellery, Pure as Love, which featured the story of a trans woman and her family, went viral for all the right reasons and was covered by publications like BBC and The Hindu. The campaign won a Grand Prix at Laadli Media Awards and a Purple Elephant at Kyoorius Creative Awards. It was also shortlisted at The One Show and Cannes Lions 2022. Sheetal also forays into strategy and has led the digital launch of brands like Cred and Uniqlo India, both as a planner and as a writer. She is currently a Creative Director at Animal and works on brands like Cred, Hyatt, and Keventers. Apart from work, she’s also associated with organisations like NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth) as a guest speaker.
