Born 1984, Tahaab’s first word was "Astronaut". In 1994 he watched a movie that changed his life: Forrest Gump. It taught him how to make an ordinary life, legendary. Just like Baby’s Day Out. In 1997, he met Mr. Adolescence with a myriad of regrettable haircuts. Today, based in Dubai, he heads strategy for Publicis Groupe across the ME & T region. He was previously in a leading strategic role at FP7 McCann. Possessing experience spanning Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Asia, he has worked on leading global and regional brands across many categories. He has developed several models and frameworks for creative briefing, connections planning, brand activation, shopper marketing, creative use of data and for CSR platforms that have led to effective and awarded work. In terms of recognition for the work, he won 500+ regional and global awards across Cannes, Effies, NYF, D&AD, Andy's, Clios, LIA, Midas, WARC, Dubai Lynx, One Show, among others, including a record of 180+ Effies. He is the most awarded strategist in the MENAT region. And is the first winner from MENAT of a Global Effie. As an industry thought-leader, he has spoken worldwide and also acts as a creative mentor for young marketers, advertisers and start-ups on all things to do with creativity and marketing in the new-age. He is also an award-winning ad film director and songwriter. In his time away from the industry, he loves being dad to two little girls, enjoys gaming, enjoys learning from movies, and expresses himself through photography and spoken word poetry. He also runs his own sports-tech start-up and an NGO.
