In 2003, Klaartje began her career in advertising as an Art Director at Direct BBDO Belgium. She switched to Proximity BBDO and after two mergers, she became part of the integrated BBDO Belgium team. Working on a lot of big brands (Chrysler, Volvo, Mercedes, Pepsi, Lidl, Mars, Nestlé to name a few) in all those specific expert agencies got her experienced in all branches of advertising. After 4 years of being an Associate she became Creative Director. She left BBDO for her current position in 2021. Her many award wins include Cannes Lions, Eurobest, LIA, New York Festivals, Cresta Awards, Caples and DMA Echo. She has also been on the panel of judges of most of these major awards shows.
