Manuel Frank has been leading Edelman’s creative & digital business across Germany since 2014 and he is now the CCO Germany and Global Creative Chair for Health. He leads a team of 50+ creatives, web developers, project managers, film producers and paid, search and social media specialists, to create game-changing work for clients including GROHE, AstraZeneca, PayPal and GSK. Manuel started out as a Copywriter in Munich more than 15 years ago and has worked for agencies in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin, including the hot shops Wildschuetz and DDB. He has developed large international and national campaigns for clients like Audi, Volkswagen, Telekom, Siemens, Bosch, McDonald’s and many more. He was the driving creative force behind the global digital launch campaign for the first VW Up! and for the renowned health campaign “Please Touch”, creating awareness for Psoriasis patients in Germany. Manuel is passionate about developing the next generation of creatives and works as a lecturer for the Young Masters programme of Art Director’s Club Germany, as well as for the renowned Copywriting school “Texterschmiede” in Hamburg. For his work, Manuel has received many national and international awards including ADC Awards, DMMA Online Star, Kontakter Campaign of the Year Award and a much sought after EFFIE Award for the Golf VII launch campaign “OneThing”.
