After graduating from New York State University with a degree in Visual Arts in 2001, Bassem worked in Dubai for 3 years in a boutique advertising agency called The Look as a visualizer. There onwards he moved to Young & Rubicam in Abu Dhabi for another 2 years, working on various global brands. In 2005 he established Calcium Advertising along with business partner, Nicolas Bousader, delivering 360 degrees branding solutions and FORTIFYING BRANDS with a solid insight of new media and thorough understanding of the local market. Bassem is currently the Creative Director and oversees creative strategy across all departments.
