Cedric DEVITT

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Cedric studied History at Trinity College. Unable to find work as an apprentice historian, he decided to head to New York.

His first advertising job was a short stint at Berlin Cameron Doyle, followed by a longer one at Grey Advertising. In 1999, Cedric decided the future was digital and went to work at Tribal DDB, where he helped lead the creative vision for almost a decade.

He is currently the Executive Creative Director for LBi US, where he oversees creative for the New York and Atlanta offices.

His work has won numerous awards for Sony, Philips, Best Buy, Neutrogena, Cuervo, Guinness, Hendrick’s GIn, and H&R Block, and has been featured in The New York Times, CNN, ABC, USA Today, and the usual marketing trades.

In his spare time, he co-founded the US Air Guitar Championships and produced Air Guitar Nation, an award-winning feature documentary about the rise of competitive air guitar.
