Olaf Czeschner was the Chief Creative Officer at Neue Digitale / Razorfish - Creative Agency for Digital Marketing in Germany for 13 years. For more than ten years up to end 2010 he was responsible for running the creative development in Frankfurt and Berlin. For international clients such as Adidas, Levis, Mc Donalds. Nintendo, Audi and many more, he has been working at the forefront of digital technology and pushing creative ideas to connect with users, to tell powerful stories or to provide interactive experiences that make clients and products more successful in the ever-growing digital arena.
Since merging with Razorfish in 2006 – the largest American network for digital marketing and one of the pioneers in the field of digital, Neue Digitale / Razorfish became part of a strong purely digital driven international network, combining international creativity, strategic planning and analysis with technical implementation as well as media services and the integration of mobile channels.
Olaf has a degree in design and took the helm in 1996 after working in a freelance capacity for several years in Germany, the USA, and the Netherlands. In 1999, he became Managing Partner of Neue Digitale / Razorfish. Since taking on the role, he can take credit for building the reputation of Neue Digitale / Razorfish as one of the most creative multimedia providers in Germany year over year.
As CCO at Neue Digitale / Razorfish, Olaf Czeschner has won more than 100 awards from the most important award shows including Gold Medals and Grand Awards for example in Cannes, at Eurobest, at Cresta Awards, at the Mobius Awards, at the Golden Award of Monteux as well as the Art Directors Club of Germany. Therefore Neue Digitale / Razorfish has been counted amongst the most creative multimedia providers in Germany and worldwide for many years.
Since 2011 he is working as a freelance creative consultant and Creative Director for Digital Media. He has been a member of many local and international juries including the International Advertising Festivals in Cannes (2002 and 2006), the One Show, the Cresta Grand Jury, the Art Directors Club, the New York Festival, D&AD and Eurobest Advertising Festival. He has also been a member of the Art Directors Club of Germany since 2001.
