Current Info and Deadlines

ELIGIBILITY
The Cresta Awards are open to all advertising agencies, advertisers, studios and production companies worldwide. Both national and international campaigns may compete. Entries submitted must be broadcast, published or released in a commercial environment 
with client approval between January 1st, 2013 and March 31st, 2014.  Entries previously submitted are not eligible.

CLOSING DATE
The official closing date for receipt of entries in New York is Friday, March 7th, 2014. 

HOW TO ENTER
Click www.cresta-awards.com/registration. All entries must be submitted online.
The registration system will be open for entry submissions on February 10th.

Press Competition: Open to Newspaper and Magazine. Entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG.

Direct Marketing Competition: Open to Brochures, Annual Reports, Business Gifts, Calendars, etc. ‘Printed Material’ entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG. Work can also be presented via a Sample. After uploading your JPGs, send your ‘sample’ via courier or post and include a copy of your entry form which you will have the ability to print after completing the online process. ‘All Other Media’ (no longer than 2 minutes) can be submitted via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).  
File size: 150MB Maximum.

Outdoor Competition: Open to Outdoor and including Posters. Entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG.  Film uploads will be accepted as a 'video case study' via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).  File size: 150MB Maximum.

Ambient Media Competition: Open to advertising that doesn’t fit into the traditional media.  Limited to one execution per entry unless submitting a campaign. Entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG. Film entries (no longer than 3 minutes) must be submitted online as a WMF (Windows Media File). File size: 150MB
 Maximum.

Radio Competition: Radio commercials (no longer than 2 minutes) must be submitted online via any universal format. For judging purposes, submitting your entry in English is strongly recommended. Non-English entries must be dubbed in English and a written translation is also required.

TV/Cinema/Online Film Competition: Open to all commercial spots (no longer than 2 minutes) appearing on TV, Cinema or Online (including web commericals &
 viral films).  Entries must be submitted online via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).  File size: 150MB maximum.

Interactive Competition: Open to Internet sites, Banner ads, SMS messaging, Mobile applications, etc. Everything 'digital' other than Online Films.  Entries must be submitted online with the correct web address (URL) and with any required passwords. If URL is no longer active, or if submitting other types of Interactive submissions, please transfer to an alternate URL for viewing. For non–English entries, a written explanation must be supplied (in the English translation box of the entry form) to facilitate the judging process.

Integrated Campaign Competition: Consisting of 3 to 9 ads total in at least three of the following media: TV/Cinema/Online Film, Press, Outdoor, Ambient Media, Radio or Interactive. Entries (no longer than 3 minutes) must be submitted online as a complete Video Presentation (including any interactive component) via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).    
File size: 150MB Maximum.

Promotion & Incentives Competition:  Open to material related to brand activation, CRM programs, loyalty schemes, special offers, coupons, competitions, in-store activities, merchandising, tie-ins, sponsorship, etc.  Limited to one execution of the Promotion or Incentive per entry unless submitting a campaign.  Entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG. Alternatively, you have the option of submitting a 'film' explanation of your entry (no longer than 3 minutes) via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).  File size: 150MB Maximum.

Branded Entertainment:  Open to any non-traditional delivery of a brand's marketing message through the creation of original content for the purpose of entertainment.  For example: events and installations, games, competitions.  Limited to one execution of the entry unless submitting a campaign.  Entries (no longer than 3 minutes) must be be submitted online as a complete Video Presentation via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).  File size: 150MB Maximum. 

Design Competition: Entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG. Work can also be presented via a Sample. Crafts Competition:
Open to TV/Cinema/Online Film, Radio, Interactive, Magazine, Newspaper, Poster and Outdoor works. ‘Printed Material’ entries must be submitted online via JPG – 3000 x 2400 pixels (300 dpi maximum). If the work requires multiple images, please upload each image as a separate JPG. ‘Film and Radio’ (no longer than 2 minutes) can be submitted via any universal format (HD size compressed as H.264 or MP4 preferred).  File size: 150MB
 maximum.  Interactive entries require a working URL.

ENTRY FEES
The entry fee for single items is $395 each. The entry fee for campaigns (excluding Integrated Campaigns) consisting of a series of ads for the same product or service is $195 for each item. The entry fee for Integrated Campaigns is $650.
